Beginner Videos

About this Violin Contact Point Lesson

It is essential when you start playing the violin that you place your bow in the correct spot across the strings.

The violin contact point is located between the bridge and the fingerboard.

It is essential that you keep the bow straight across the strings, as well as keep the bow near the optimal contact point at all times.

This is one of the 30-techniques associated with improving your violin technique and vibrato.
