How to Optimize the Sound of Your Violin

In this video, I'm going to show you some tips on how to optimize the sound of your violin.

Make sure that the distance between the bridge and the tailpiece is 5.5cm. This makes the violin perform at its optimal projection point.

There are other tips that I mention in the video, which will help you get the best sound out of your violin.

Making this adjustment along with working on your violin technique can really start to show you progress with sound quality on the violin.

Here is a link to get my free violin technique checklist, which if you haven't downloaded it yet, I highly recommend printing it and putting it on your music stand.

This will help give you reminders related to violin technique in an easy to understand comprehensive resource.

Happy violin playing!

After watching this video I discovered that although my bridge placement was good the bridge itself needed some work. Thanks for the info!
